Update: It is with deep regret that we have to announce the cancellation of this year’s festival. This difficult decision came after careful consideration by the Reno Art Fest committee and ARTECH board of directors. Due to the upheaval caused by COVID-19, the casinos have been closed since the middle of March and the stay-at-home directive has been extended to April 30. Our major sponsor funding for this year has been withdrawn so we no longer have a festival venue, nor funds for the Fire Fest and Art Car Show and Shine. All of this means we cannot produce Reno Art Fest as originally advertised. We are also worried that discretionary income will not be available for artwork as early as June, and we truly want Reno Art Fest to generate sales for our artists. Our team will be reaching out to artists with information regarding refunds. We greatly regret any inconvenience and disappointment this causes for everyone who was looking forward to joining us at the festival. This was a very difficult decision and we did not make it lightly.
We look forward to seeing you all June 4-6, 2021, when we will have one fantastic celebration!
Reno Art Fest 2021 will celebrate local and regional artists in downtown Reno with an Art Car Show & Shine, Open Air Art Market, Controlled Burn, a CR8TIV Zone full of family fun, a beer garden, local food trucks and a weekend packed with activities.
Reno Art Fest is presented by Artech, a nonprofit organization celebrating creativity and innovation.
